Could you be raising a criminal? Acts of violence don't come out of nowhere, and every parent should be aware of the clues along the way. For the most violent of criminals, there are warning signs that often start in childhood. Below is a list of the 14 most common traits of serial killers.
1. Over 90 percent of serial killers are male.
2. They tend to be intelligent, with IQ's in the "bright normal" range.
3. They do poorly in school, have trouble holding down jobs, and often work as unskilled laborers.
4. They tend to come from markedly unstable families.
5. As children, they are abandoned by their fathers and raised by domineering mothers.
6. Their families often have criminal, psychiatric and alcoholic histories.
7. They hate their fathers and mothers.
8. They are commonly abused as children — psychologically, physically and sexually. Often the abuse is by a family member.
9. Many serial killers spend time in institutions as children and have records of early psychiatric problems.
10. They have high rates of suicide attempts.
11. From an early age, many are intensely interested in voyeurism, fetishism, and sado-masochistic pornography.
12. More than 60 percent of serial killers wet their beds beyond the age of 12.
13. Many serial killers are fascinated with fire starting.
14. They are involved with sadistic activity or tormenting small creatures.

Serial Murderers
Serial Murderers often kill for sadistic pleasure, on the other hand, tend to externalize their homicidal reasoning's. Serial killers want the death to go on and on, and they work hard not to get caught. With a serial killer their is usually six characteristics:
1.) There are a minimum of two murders
2.) the killer and victim are unrelated
3.) the murders have no direct connection to each other and occur at different times
4.) the murders usually occur at different locations
5.) victims may have characteristics in common with earlier or later victims
6:) the murders are not committed for material gain but for gratification based on fantasies
Most serial murderers show very active, violent, sexualized fantasies, which focused on killing until the first murder occurred and perfecting the killing after the first murder had occurred.
Most serial killers also have a huge lace of positive childhood fantasies.
As of 1997 their were approximately 399 serial killers. Can you imagine the number now? What about the ones that we don't yet know about?
Next posting will be "could you be raising a serial killers?"

Mass Murderers
In an earlier post i talked about how deranged one had to be to actually kill another individual, and what must be going through their head at the time. This left me wondering a couple of things, What's the difference between a mass murderer, and a serial murderer. Here are some of my findings on mass murderers, i will continue at a later date on information about serial murderers.
Mass Murderers are as different as their killings, and as diverse as their reasons for killing. Whether it's spousal betrayal or the loss of a job. Expects say most people who embark on a catastrophic even that triggers a suicidal rage and an unquenchable thirst to get even is a shared characteristic. Mass Murderers think someone else is to blame, but their own death is a virtual certainty, and they want to take as many with them as possible. Most mass murderers before they die, feel it's very important for them to get some satisfaction, to get even with the people or the institutions or even the world that has treated them so badly or made their life so miserable.
Experts believe that mass killers fall generally into these categories:
1.) People who are angry at a specific person or group of people.
2.) People who are angry at a place or a group and they kill anyone who happens to represent those things.
3.) The rarest type, people who target victims at random, (UT sniper in 1966 who killed 16 and wounded 31)
Typically, mass murderers have no criminal record or history of psychiatric treatment. In many ways, there are warning signs of impending attacks that go unrecognized or ignored, however, it is virtually impossible to know that someone bent on suicide has decided to take others with them.
Could the media be to blame for some mass murders? For some murderers that are on the edge sometimes all it takes is that being highlighted int he media for them to go, "You know? I could do something like that, I'm THAT ANGRY". Its all over the place, right in their face, whether it be by television or in print, and could influence their thinking pattern.
My next post will be information focusing on Serial Murderers so their is a comparison

How funny can you get on April Fools Day?
This story is actually taken from the Associated Press: This is hilarious!!!!!
Ohio man charged with drunken driving on bar stool - Authorities in Ohio say a man has been charged with drunken driving after crashing his motorized bar stool. Police in Newark, 30 miles east of Columbus, say when they responded to a report of a crash with injuries on March 4, they found a man who had wrecked a bar stool powered by a deconstructed lawn mower.
Twenty-eight-year Kile Wygle was hospitalized for minor injuries. Police say he was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated after he told an officer at the hospital that he had consumed 15 beers. Wygle told police his motorized bar stool can go up to 38 mph.
Wygle has pleaded not guilty and has requested a jury trial.
If you have a better story than this, let's hear it!!!!

How is this for the association of death in 3's?
On Saturday March 14th, Police found 9 bodies in Mexican Border. Imagine that it is a multiple of 3. State security stated that the total of nine bodies, which 7 were male and 2 females had been found. One was handcuffed however, all were tortured.
The police have arrested a suspected leader of a drug cartel hit squad for the 9 killings.
Honestly, what is this world coming to. Is no country safe? Do we not only have to watch what goes on in our own country but now have to worry about other countries as well? Aren't we already doing that.
Please voice any opinions - here's my take - if the US would stop getting involved in every ones (other countries) rivals, and mishaps, wouldn't we actually have a world where people would learn how to defend for themselves instead of having someone always bailing you out. Lets look overseas, why are the troops still there? How many cities have revamped their lives and are starting over and making their day to day activities normal again? So once again, why are they there? Protection? HA Comfort? HA -- Don't you think we are letting countries not rely on themselves for the devastation's that we ourselves are going through as well? No we bail them out, it's not called help, if anything it makes matters worse.
